Hey Fashion Friday Muses! I hope you all are doing well! Wednesday, I got a package from Truekind AND they have their Fall sale going on right now? It’s about to be up!
Let’s get into everything.
So, first of all, this post is sponsored by Truekind. Truekind and Shapermint are sister brands and sell shapewear, bras, underwear, etc. In my opinion, they are one of the most affordable quality undergarment brands out there right now.
As someone who has been rocking with Truekind and Shapermint for some years now (included them being my go-to for shapewear and my favorite bra while I was pregnant,) I’m honored to be a Fall Ambassador for Truekind!
With that, they sent me a beautiful package with six of their fall essentials that you can shop during the fall warehouse sale going on right now. You can shop these essentials and more for up to 60% off and y’all know how I love a good sale.
Let’s get started looking into what they sent me:
Truekind Seamless Stretch Mid-Waist Brief – $12.99
So, I’ve never tried undies from Truekind or Shapermint, so when I saw that I’d be receiving a pair to try out for the first time, I was super excited! These briefs come in three sizes to be “fit for all” in XS-S, M-XL, and 2XL-4XL. I received the third size and when you look on the inside of the briefs the size “16-24” are printed, this is in my wheelhouse of sizing since having my baby plus my weight just having regular fluctuation due to bloating, etc. They boast a full coverage brief with laser cut, seamless edges and made from breathable fabric with a cotton gusset for 24/7 wear.
Truekind Daily Comfort Wireless Shaper Bra – $29.99
Most of this haul is bras and I am VERY thankful. For this one, it boasts their latest fabric technology that’s breathable and stretchy, extra-wide straps, designed for women of all body types, and a smooth fit without lines and bulges with no wires. This bra comes in three colors (Black, White, & Beige) and goes from a size S-4XL.
First Fit: I have a size 3XL in Black, it’s the same size I have in my other Truekind bra. At first try on, it’s tight in the arm strap area on my shoulders and around my chest. I have bulging on the sides with “sideboob” highly prevalent. However, this bra comes with a bra extender, so I added it on and tried it on the second to last hook and eye row. The bra now fits pretty comfortably, only a little tighteness on the shoulder straps, but, the girls are indeed “sitting.”
Truekind Convertible Strapless Bandeau Bra – $35.99
I think I’m the most excited about this bra out of the five I was sent. I don’t have a good, comfortable strapless bra. As a bigger up top girl, it’s hard to find ones that are supportive, not a bank breaker, and of good quality. So, needless to say, the one I had from Amazon lasted me one wear. This one however, went viral on TikTok or Instagram some time ago and I already had my eyes on it before realizing I was receiving it in this package. It’s said to be breathable, stretchy, no slip due to the anti-slip silicone grip on the inside, includes convertable straps for regular or cross strap wear, and no wires.
First Fit: I have a size 3XL in Black. Okay, I’m in LOVE. First off, it’s worth mentioning that the convertible straps they come with is in both the color of the bra you choose AND clear! I love that for versatility and for those that want a little extra lift and confidence in the bra. This is the first strapless bra I’ve ever put on where I’m both comfortable and I feel like my girls are secure. With the silicone “anti-slip” grip around the top-inside part of the bra, I definitely feel like it isn’t going anywhere. I can’t wait to purchase in the other colors. However, I’m in the “it’s too good to be true” stage, so I’ll report back again once I wear it with an outfit. Just for reference, when I was last measured, I was a 36 (or 38) G. I’ve had a baby since and haven’t really bought bras too much so this makes me feel pretty good.
Truekind Seamless Racerback Sports Bra – $26.99
It’s not often I find me a good, supportive, COMFORTABLE sports bra. I usually have to wear two bras when I go workout and especially when I’m doing cardio or anything high-impact. It’s the most uncomfortable thing known to woman. That being said, with it being TrueKind, I have high hopes for this bra. These bras have detachable cups, all-day coolness due to the fabric’s breathability, and broad shoulder straps.
First Fit: I have a size 3XL in Heather Gray with Black Trim. BABY, CALL PLANET FITNESS! I’M RENEWING MY MF MEMBERSHIP. (Not really, that’s a 360-deal, baby.) Anyways, I can’t remember the last time I had a sports bra that was this comfortable and a racerback too?! The girls are in and comfortable, I feel like I have both coverage and support. Definitely will be purchasing in more colors.
Truekind Everyday Throw-On Wireless Bralette – $17.99
I am a huge fan of just simple “everyday” bras to just throw on around the house and when running simple errands. I love ones that don’t require much work to put on and fix. These bras boast a pull-on style, as comfortable as wearing a t-shirt, wide straps, and said to perfectly sculpts your bust to prevent “quad-boob.”
First Fit: I have a 4XL in Beige. Although this is a 4XL (which I originally asked for a 3XL) it fits in the shoulders like it’s a size to two sizes too small. The straps are tight whereas the rest of the bra fits pretty well. The sculpting to prevent “quad boob” is true though. Maybe my least favorite so far out of the set.
Truekind Supportive Comfort Wireless Shaping Bra – $35.99
I’ve never had a bra with this plunging of a neckline before and I have a couple of blouses and a romper that this would work well with. I’m loving the chocolate color because it matches the every day bra I have and a spank that I already have as well.
First Fit: I have a size 3XL in Chocolate. It’s a bit tight when you first put it on but then again, I forgot you can adjust the straps to make it more comfortable. After adjusting the straps, they felt a bit better. I would say that I wish this bra came with a hook and eye extender as well.
Preliminary thoughts of all the bras, I would say I’m the most excited to try out the strapless bra and the one that is the biggest surprise for me is the sports bra. So far, my least favorite is the “Throw On” bra, but we’ll see once we try wearing it later.
If you have any of these, let me know your thoughts! Shoutout again to Truekind for hooking a girl up and I can’t wait to use them all!
Lovingly yours,
