The girl with a passion for all things Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, and Music. I started this interesting and non-linear journey over a decade ago, and I have no intentions on stopping. Welcome along for the ride.
Hey y’all, it’s your girl Deni. I’ve been blogging for over a decade now, and that love of writing and sharing my opinions with the world in my bedroom all those years ago in high school morphed into my space as you know it now. I started on BlogSpot in 2010, and went over to Tumblr, then landed here with my own corner of the internet here.
I started my journey as a wide-eyed, music blogger who just wanted to share her playlists, album reviews, and artist spotlights with anyone who would read and or listen. Back then, I only had my boyfriend at the time, select classmates, and friends supporting me; as I kept it a secret from my family at the time. If you grew up with protective (at times overprotective but for my own good,) parents, then you understand. Eventually, I started covering my high school’s football games and giving love to my school. Then it evolved to covering campus fashion when I enrolled in Auburn University at Montgomery. My friends and classmates were great sports about sharing their fits with me. Around this time, in 2015, I decided to take this seriously and started reviewing products we well. Brands actually started sending me things to try out!
Fast forward to 2023, I lost my blog site due to a hosting error out of my control. I was able to save some blog content but not all of it. Over a decade’s worth of love and work disappeared overnight, and it led me into a depressed state over all of the work I lost. Around this time, I was also pregnant with my first child. As my fiance and I welcomed our princess into the world, something in me clicked after a while. With the support of my family, friends, and a lot of love — I started to rebuild my blog home in the early months of 2024. Losing my blog back then in my opinion, is one of the reasons why I still struggle with consistency in posting to this day. It’s hard to lose so much work like I did.
Now, that we are in 2025 and looking forward to 2026, I’m working on fully being back while also juggling life as a part-time wedding planner (a girl is in her fianceé era still,) being a toddler mom, a later in life college student (shoutout to WGU,) and still being a full-time personal and freelance digital creative.
That all being said, welcome to my crazy, beautiful, colorful, world. Can’t wait to continue to share with you!
With Love,
